Sister Sites

One of my favorite hobbies is creating websites. I have been doing this since my creation of TVL Version 1.0 at Angelfire. Since 1998, this hobby has grown tremendously. With creation of this main site, The Vixen's Lair, I now own and run five websites. I created one for my former job, Custom Computers and would love to help others create some for themselves. The following are personal TVL productions that I own and run.

Deadmarsh 18/28

Adam's site is honestly my favorite out of all of the websites that I currently run. I met one of my best, closest friends through this website. In fact, I met a whole fanbase of people whose opinions I enjoy at Let's Go Kings. Adam knows about this website and I'm very proud of that fact. I enjoyed working on this website and was very sad to watch Adam retire (too early) due to concussion syndorme. It kept me constantly busy and I loved the fact that I was the one solely responsible for serving the Deadmarsh fanbase. This was my second formal website and the one that I've had the second-longest after Anaphe.org. This particular website has been in operation since May 11, 2001.

The Road To Anaphe

The Road To Anaphe is the website I've had the longest, since June of 2000. It was originally supposed to serve as an archive website for the story of Sheldon Kennedy, whose cross-Canada skate is what the site's named after. The idea for this site was mentioned in passing by an online friend of mine whom I've lost touch with, and since I had a lot of material on Sheldon on TVL V.1, my first personal site, I decided to take that idea and run with it, which was something my friend wasn't doing. In the time since, it has become a website for child advocacy and victim's rights. The website's message board has become a great resource site with tons of links, news articles and other things, along with an area to help with getting laws passed both in the USA and in Canada. Sheldon does know about this site, I'm proud to say.

The Good King: An Online Memorial To Jon Brandis

Created in late 2003, this is the next website that will undergo a major overhaul. As a teenager, I grew up a huge Jonathan Brandis fan. On November 12, 2003, Jonathan took his life. When revamped, this will hopefully become the single largest photo gallery memorial for Jon on the internet. The initial designing (not available right now) helped me through his death as well as that of my father in October, 2003. I fully intend upon keeping this website up and going as long as humanly possible, as Jonathan still has a large fanbase, myself included. This site will be three years old in December, 2006.

The latest production from TVL is about to hit its first birthday in August, 2006. My favorite hockey player in the NHL is Dallas Stars' Captain, Mike Modano. He gives a lot of time and money to Jonathan's Place and has his own Foundation set up to help kids who are abused and neglected in the Dallas area. This site was in the works for a couple of years, but I was of two minds about it because there was already a really popular Modano site on the internet already. When that site finally closed its doors, I decided to take over serving the Modano fanbase with news and updates. It has been fun to be busy with almost-constant updates again like 18/28 was. I'm looking forward to more in the very near future.

DANGER: PANTHERS CROSSING
(Banner unavailable at this time)

The next big project to come is a site dedicated to the Florida Panthers that will serve the Panthers' fanbase overall, not just for one player in particular. This will be a huge, trying job. For examples on exactly how huge we're talking, please take a look at Let's Go Kings and Let's Go Wings. I hope that time will allow me to do it, as I'd love to be able to help the Panthers establish a real, honest fanbase and not these phony, fairweather, bandwagon fans they have now.
